Mobile App Development with App Inventor

Our Mobile App Development with App Inventor workshop is designed for students in grades 6-8 who want to learn how to create their own mobile apps for Android devices. App Inventor is a visual drag-and-drop programming environment that allows students to create functional apps without needing to write any code. In this workshop, students will learn how to use App Inventor to design and develop their own apps, including adding features such as buttons, text boxes, images, and sounds. They will also learn how to test their apps on a device or emulator, and how to publish their apps to the Google Play Store.

Requirements: No prior coding experience is required, but students should be comfortable using a computer and have a basic understanding of how mobile apps work. Students will need a laptop or desktop computer with internet access.
